Palestinians reject Benjamin Netanyahu’s offer.
The Palestinian authorities dismissed the peace package of Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu as insufficient. The Israeli premier spoke before Congress on Tuesday saying that he was willing to make “generous territorial concessions but that Jerusalem must remain a part of Israel and the West Bank too where tens of thousands of Jews have been settled.”
The Palestinians however feel that what they are being offered is, to use the proverbial word: peanuts. This truncated state offered to them is unacceptable for it is beneath their dignity. But Netanyahu remains adamant and so do the Palestinians who want their rightful homeland and will do all that they are capable of in order to attain it.
