Two people feared dead in helicopter crash.
A Punjab Rangers helicopter crashed on Wednesday. The Chief of the Paramilitary Forces was on board. At least four people including Major General Muhammad Nawaz were on board the doomed aircraft. The helicopter sank in the River Indus. Nearby was the town of Kot Sultan Bhakri.
The cause of the crash remains unknown. There is speculation that bad weather conditions contributed to the tragedy. Two dead bodies have been recovered from the river’s depths.
