Pakistan and India team up in tennis

Pakistan’s Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi teamed up  with India’s Rohan Bopanna to reach the US Open Men’s doubles final. Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi was also a runner up in US Open Mixed doubles final yesterday.

Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Rohan Bopanna have shown their class throughout the tournament.Qureshi and Bopanna beat Eduardo Schwank and Horacio Zeballos of Argentina 7-6 (5), 6-4 in semi finals.The pair will face top-ranked Mike and Bob Bryan of United States late on Friday. Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Rohan Bopanna won their first ATP World Tour doubles title together against Karol Beck and Harel Levy in SA Tennis Open Johannesburg. They have beaten world record holders Mike and Bob Bryan in the quarterfinals of the Legg Mason Classic event.Aisam-ul-Haq of Pakistan becomes the first Muslim to enter finals of US Open Mixed and Men’s Doubles and frist ever Pakistani player to reach finals of any Grand slam.
